Ramen Noodle Anyone??

I was talking to my good 'ol buddy Ralph about 5 mins ago, telling him how he needs to follow my blog.

While I was talking to him, I ripped open a bag of Ramen to cook.

Now, when I was growing up, Ramen was a big staple in our home, just bc we ate SO much, why not feed us something cheap, right?
Our parents were so smart.

But, has anyone noticed that the noddles they give for you to cook have decreased, SIGNIFICANTLY? It's like NOTHING anymore. I think I may have to cook 2 bags!
Just thought I'd point this out.

Now, back to my Ramen....MMMM!

Twilight-er?

Ok, I said I was going to be better at this, so here we go.

Much like my sister (who does have a job--a teacher--so shes off all Summer), I have the luxury of being able to do things at a laid back pace, such as going shopping (which anyone will tell you is a whole event in itself if you've ever gone ANYWHERE w/ my kids), playing on the PC, or even reading!

So, im totally into Twilight.

Suprised?

Dont be. Who knew there was a reader inside me?!!

So one day, I got online and ordered 2 shirts, both preaining to the Twilight Saga. And I wish you all could have seen the look on Ronny's face when I told him what I had done.

Wow. I felt so silly, like a 13 year old again when N'Sync was popular.

So whenever you see me wearing my (ether of them) t-shirts, just know that its not an
obsession, that I just REALLY like the books...and movie.

Our NEWEST Addition!

Well, he's not quite so new now, but when (or if) any of you come to our house, you will be greeted by the fawn looking little sausage who runs crooked, A.K.A. Tank.

He came to us in March of this year, I bought him from a breeder out of Tyler. And if you would like to see more of his brothers & sisters, even his parents, then click on this website: http://www.gimmebulldogs.com/

The kids love him, and he's such a sweet dog! He lovesss the water, too!

Here's another picture that I took when I walked in the kitchen, wondering just what he was up to when I called him and he didnt come to his name.....

Jaxson's SSI

We FINALLY got Jaxson on SSI (Social Security Income) for his Seizure Disability...im not going into detail, just hope you NEVER have to deal w/ ANY of them.....

So they just decided that, based on income of corse, that Jaxson was eligible for $18 a month. Need I say more about this? We were denied 3 TIMES, but got lucky I guess! All that hard work & rude people for a wopping $18 a month.

Sounds kind of ungrateful, I know, but it's alomost not worth bothing with them! They're so UGLY to people, because they think their always being lied to! I guess that's what happens when people abuse the system so badly; other children (and adults) have to suffer from it.

But, the GOOD thing is, they owe Jaxson backpay AND MEDICAID coverage from January of this year! So I guess we'll keep w/ them until I get fed up enough w/ their antics...

My First Blog

Wow. In 2006, I discovered the virus-infecting world of MySpace, and now here I am, in 2009, blogging, all thanks to my dear, sweet friend, Megan Asby.
Now let me tell you about these two in the photo above: Jaxson & Holley
Life has drastically changed as we know it.
I think life has gotten so, so much sweeter. Maybe it's because the thought of a new baby warms the heart...because it CERTAINLY isn't from the sweet smell of baby poo!
All kidding aside, we certainly are thankful, for everything were given, and we know that time here on Earth with our loved one's is limited! I pray for God to give me enough time here to see my great-grandchildren, and for my family to have the comfort of knowing that "I'm old" and if I died suddenly, that it would be okay because I lived a full, meaningful life.
So, thats enough for now...gotta get back to watching my Oprah, discussing the controversy surrounding hormone replacement. I know, what a life, right? =)
